The Healing House-South Jersey is a charitable for-profit membership organization comprised of psychiatrists and medical professionals from the United States and around the world. The Healing House-South Jersey's primary mission is to promote the highest quality care for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders and their families, promote psychiatric education and research, advance and represent the profession of psychiatry, and serve the professional needs of our membership. To achieve these goals, we offer a variety of goods and services to people who may be interested in mental health diagnosis and treatment. Some key goods and services offered by The Healing House-South Jersey are membership services, covered & non-covered private carrier care, charitable events and services that give those in the mental health field opportunities to heal, learn and network; publishing of research, journals and digital products; social/informative newsletters; legislative updates; and educational opportunities.

To assist us in achieving the above goals, we collect and process certain information you provide us. We work hard to be good stewards of your information. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control how we update, manage, export, and delete your information.

What do we collect and how:

Anonymous and Aggregated Web Traffic Information.

General traffic, site usage and pages accessed, browser information, length-of-stay information, and location data, is collected and stored in log files. When you place an order with us or pay your dues electronically, standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date, etc.) is collected through a third-party payer who is compliant with Payment Card Industry data security standards. The third-party payer provides us with, and we store, the last four digits of your credit card number, which is retained for purposes of issuing applicable refunds.

Information from Third Parties.

The Healing House-South Jersey uses third parties to help promote, market and sell our products and services. We may receive from and exchange with these third parties information about you. Examples include the following: (1) our HIPAA compliant customer relationship management platform (“CRM”) for information about current and prospective patients; (2) our HIPAA compliant scheduling software for patient treatment logistics and tracking; and (3) our insurance claims settlement solutions and tracking.

Indirect Collection – Analytics.

Our websites use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which are web analysis services offered by Google, Inc. to help The Healing House-South Jersey analyze how users interact with our site.
